How to make the transition from Product Manager to Product Builder
I would propose a panel discussion with three to four experienced product managers who have made the transition from working as a pure product manager or product executive and are now fully immersed in product building with AI teams.
I've been doing this for a few months now, and the learning curve is tremendous and I believe many people would benefit from this panel discussion. This is a unique time and this format would be a fantastic way to get engagement on different perspectives and questions.
If you are interested in being a panelist, please comment below and I'll reach out to you.

I’d love to be on the panel.
After 6 years in Product Management, I transitioned to VP Product Innovation where all we do is build prototypes zero-to-one. Last year, I solo built and launched Antinote.io, a macOS notetaking app that was on The Verge’s Top 10 Things of 2025.
Happy to talk anything from high level mindset shifts to the very specific technical workflow and architecture that makes solo building with a product background most effective.
Thanks for leading this!

Stepping from a large organization into a startup environment was a defining moment in my career. It really pushed me from managing products to actually building them. In that context, there’s little room for error, and every decision has a direct impact on the product’s success or failure. It’s definitely more challenging at times, but also very rewarding.
