Help, is my career a hyper-fixation? (Neurodivergent in Product)
Quote: “How often do you have trouble wrapping up the final details of a project, once the challenging parts have been done?”
Does reading the first question of the ADHD self assessment make you laugh?
You might be in the right place.
Your colourful co-hosts are quirky for a reason; we’re neurospicy!
We’re creating space for a gathering (not for boardgames this time though).
We will;
1. Highlight as a crowd some common challenges for the neurodivergent peeps
2. Break-out into groups to discuss techniques and tips for overcoming these challenges
3. Regroup with the room to share insights
We won’t;
* Have boring slides
* Supply fidget toys (BYOFT)
* Promise you anything
Co-hosts
Nicole Tai: self-diagnosed, not a doctor. Former Associate Director of Product but enjoying a first retirement by exploring opportunities within their various special interests (tattoos, anyone?)
Jeanine Longley: self-diagnosed with a prescription (what a story!), not a doctor. Principal PM and former Prez of a local product association you maybe heard of.
Note: we both have ADHD so are not ourselves diverse. If you are otherwise neurodivergent and interested in expanding the scope of this workshop do feel free to reach out!

Last year I hosted "Networking SUCKS! How to be successful in Product Management as an Introvert".
I love this topic, to have a space for Neurodivergent crew who struggle to be the "Model" Product Manager.
Hope to see you all there!

Remember to answer with the answer that would be true if you hadn't spent years training yourself to act like the normies.
